Keyword Mage Tips

As you know keyword mage is designed to access eBay categories to dig out keywords in the category you have selected to search. This short video is to give you a idea on using the system and a neat trick.

…didn’t understand the question, “ask the support desk.” See, I had taken seriously that we were supposed to use the default settings so (stupidly — duhhh) had ignored the 3-word option, and thought 2 redundant reports of 2-words was useless.

My partner Bob pointed me to this video and just in time to save me a ton of work, as I was researching a lot of EPN categories and had pulled only 2-word reports because that is the default. Many pulled fewer than the minimum desirable 3000 so I was about to go back to the drawing board to find different categories with more keywords. But thanks to you, now I know to pull both 2-word and 3-word reports and this allowed me to stick with the categories I had chosen.

Hello Mike, I sent you an email last week and no response from you yet….anyway, I just watch this video keywords mage tips, and when I click Download, either Excel or Notpad it shows words and simbols that nobody can understand, what’s happening? you said just download using excel or whatever we want and in my case, comes out a language that is not posible to understand.

When you download the file it is zipped. The file needs to be unzippes and then you can open it in Excel. You can then copy the list of keywords and clean them with any program you have.
Hi Mike i am starting my first site i am looking at keyword mage just a quick question when it asks for a category id , i only have clickbank is it ok to put in my clickbank id there
The category ID is for eBay categories. You can still use the keywords from eBay for other than eBay products.
Great video Mike, can you explain what the “Seed” word means? If you use it would you put your keyword there?

A Seed Word is a word or phrase that is the center point of related keywords or phrases. A example is the word guitar. Now as a seed word guitar can have many connecting words or phrases for example, guitar picks, guitar strings, electric guitar etc. You can also see how the word interrelates by using Google’s Wonder Wheel on how it relates to your seed word. Just type it into the search criteria in Google and on the left side of the page you will see a drop down for Show Search Tools select Wonder Wheel and see how the different phrases interrelate to each other. This tool is a great way to find those unique phrases searchers are looking for.
Hi mike how do i remove posts from my site.Some that have been created by mage are not relevent.

You can delete them individually by going to Post>Eidt and send them to the Trash or use a plugin. I use bulk delete and bulk move plugins you can search for them if you want to install them.
