Uploading Multiple Plugins At One Time
This short video is to explain a technique to upload multiple custom plugins to your CMPage control panel.
With the upgrade to 1.6.0. of CPMage there is a added feature that allows you to upload custom plugins that will be added to all the new site you create. This is a great feature and really makes you life easier than in the past.
To high light the process the is a link on the edit options page for WP PLUGINS. Clicking this link brings you to a page where you can input the info to the location of the plugin to upload. There is even a browse feature where you can browse you computer to find the plugin.
In it's basic function the plugin you are going to upload must be in a zipped file and you can only upload one at a time.
This video will show you a technique that allows you to upload you plugins in mass and they due not need to be zipped. You will put your unzipped plugins into a separate folder then zip that folder then upload it.
Click on the video to see how easy and fast this can be.
As always let me know what you think.

Hello Mike,
Thanks for this video. I haven’t used my CPMage for quite sometime already as I am using the ABB’s installer. My question is: do you configure those plugins first before you select them as part of the .zip file to be uploaded & used by your site?
Thanks in anticipation for your answer.
No you need to configure them once uploaded to the site unless you are familiar with data base editing.
Dear Mr. Mike ,
Thank you SO very much! …for lifting the fog on all of these very important details. I have visited your site a million times and will do so a million times more. You’ve saved me (and many others) a ton of time and frustration. I’d still be lost and frustrated without you!
I truly appreciate every video, your wonderful, clear instruction and your very warm nature.
So, thank you again,
Maureen
Maureen..thanks for stopping by. I am glad to help out at any time. If you have a question just send a PM or a contact message.
Hi Mike -
Great Mage help site you’ve got here. Just one question about uploading multiple plugins. So, do you have to have to use 7-Zip in order to upload multiple plugins? I noticed when you right-clicked that’s where you accessed the “plugins.zip” file. I use SmartFTP, so would multiple uploads still work with another FTP program or is it exclusive only to 7Zip?
I appreciate your time and any info you can tell me here.
Thanks much
Scott
Any ftp program will work. Thanks for stopping by
Hi Mike,
Thanks for another great video yet again
Are we able to upload phpbay & phpzon plugins via the multiple plugin in CPMage control panel ?
Thanks Again,
Kind Regards,
Coral.
Coral,
Currently you can not upload phpBay or phpZon this way. Due to their complexity they have to be uploaded manually.
Gr8888t video as always Mike. Would you possible do a review, post or better yet a video on your favorite plug ins that you absolutely love with your mage site?
Sounds like a good idea
