PhpZonPro is a WordPress plugin that pulls product information from Amazon and displays the information on you posts. This video was developed to aid you in the installation of the plugin. If you have any questions please send me a PM or leave a post here. I hope this helps you with the process.

Hey guys, I love this phpZon.
I did have an encounter that some say are bot clicks.
Yesterday, I set up phpZon on one of my sites and this morning I went in to amazon to look
at my stats and saw 137 clicks, yet $0 in sales.
Some are saying that there were no sales because those were “Bot Clicks”.
could this be true and does anyone know of a way to keep this from happening
with phpZon?
Thanks for any comments.
Sorry To Bother Ya…
I got the override but I still would like to block certain words, if possible…
Thanks for any advice.
Hello.
Just upgraded to the new version.
Great video Mike, very thorough easy to understand.
Do you know how to override my main sidebar widget and make the
page specific products come up in the sidebar?
Right now, I only have my global widget products appearing.
Also, I run a family friendly web site.
Is there any way to block descriptions with words, such as:
“Playboy”, “Nude”, etc…?
Thanks for your support.
I do not have the new one yet but you might put a minus sign in front of the keyword to block it
Hi Mike,
Just Bought the phpBay Pro & phpZon through your link today.
I have been following your instruction videos and just wanted to say a big thank you. So often installs don’t go according to plan but you made it a breeze.
A great service you’re providing.
Regards,
Jack
ps. The templates pdf won’t open. I downloaded it twice and I’m using the latest adobe reader but it says file corrupted.
Jack I really appreciate your support and thanks so much. Glad the videos help you out.
Mike
@Mike: Jack I fixed the issue with the template pdf not downloading. Thanks for the info.
Mike
Sorry but I still do not get this !
I am confused with the install. I managed to get the plugin into one site ok, but when I tried getting it into a second site it has not showed up on the site dashboard plugin. Sorry how ever many times I have stopped and started the video it is not clear to me.
The install PDF that comes with the plug-in is even more difficult to comprehend.
Call me dumb, call me blond call me exasperated.

Lizzy FTP it to the plugins folder of the site.
I have been enjoying your videos. They are a great help. Because I have received a benefit from them I went ahead and ordered the phpbayZon from your link.
I have a question back about the WTG. Are there more RSS Aggregators that you recommend adding to the list, and if so what are they, or where can we find them. I did a google search and to be honest, I got confused as to which are what we would use, what ones are good…etc
Looking forward to more videos Mike. Keep up the good work. I really hope this is working out for you and people are using the links.
good site mike…..ive been using phpzon and just install via cpanel…..just upload and extract right in the root directory of the site and the files get installed correctly into content/plugins so i dont actually have to click/open the content folders…….works really fast with no ftp.
i just got into epn today and will buy phpbay thru you now because of your video it looks a little more complicated overlapping with phpzon and overlapping images files so looks like i have have to use filezilla now to do both on one site because not sure what would happen just extracting phpbay with phpzon already there
If you use the file manager from your cpanel you can upload the zip file to the plugins folder the unzip it right there. No problem at all with phpZon. Also after you unzip it delete the zip file just to save space.
On the image file issue just copy the actual image files from the phpBay folder and place them in the folder you have for phpZon. The coding in the program looks for the image folder then the file. So if all the files are in the same folder both programs will access it.
Mike,
Thanks a lot for the response and the clarification.
As clear as mud is complimentary = making complicated issues clear. That’s exactly what you’ve done with all the training videos that I have watched so far. I have moved forward with building my sites with the help of these videos.
Again, thanks!

I concur with Mark – Great stuff indeed! I love the way you teach. Your explanations are as clear as mud!!
I have a quick question though – for phpbay and phpzon, the reason you removed your ebay and amazon profiles is so that you have either mage or phpbay/phpzon content format, and not both. So having removed your affiliate details, particularly for Amazon, how do you get you credited for sales you generate?
Thanks for these trainings.

As clear as mud!! I thought I did better than that. On your phpBay/Zon question the reason I mentioned removing your info in affiliate mage is so you can append or prepend phpBay/Zon code to old posts. Once you have the plugin installed and a template set up to use them the affiliate mage info will not be looked for because you will not have the code in the template.
Great stuff Mike!
