Creating Mage Templates

There have been a lot of questions on template development and use. I developed this video to hopefully answer some of those questions. This video is for the basic understanding of how to create a template, load it in posting mage and to use it to create content using the content generator.
Once you get the idea of how all the parts work it is easy to develop templates that make your site look even better.

Hi Mike.
Shall I have template for downloadable EBook. How?
Say I direct people from landing page to EBook, which one is in the one of Mage website.
Did I have to upload my EBook to server? How?
I like your flexible approach.
For people to be able to get the eBook it has to on the server to download

I am very thankful to you for providing these valuable tutorials for newbie like me..
However, i understand we need to create these templates for our products site but i am not so sure how these these templates get distributed. Also when i first create the site the basic template is already there, isn’t it?
Viikii You do not need to create the templates if you do nnot want to. You can use Posting Mage to create your posts. It is just like the way you first created the site.

In the template video talking about posting mage I think you said you can mix and match templates to use on one site.
How and why would you do this?
If you are using several templates how does it know when and where to use different templates within the site?
I must have misunderstood this????

You would create several templates you want and then use the content generator feature to create your posts. You would check the templates you want to use and make sure the action drop down said use templates that are checked.

One question here, I noticed you have “Post Comments” on the site you demonstrated here. My thought was not to have any comment option on my mage sites due to the number of sites I hope to eventually have and the ultimate goal of these sites being more of an “income generator” vs. a real “interactive” blog.
Any thoughts/advice?

Well Martha I do not have comments on most of my sites. I do on some but not many. To much to keep track of.
great videos, just wanted to know do you only need to make templates if you have wpmage or should templates be made with both wpmage and cpmage?
You can make them for both WPMage and CPMage. It is not a requirment to make templates for either system it is an option if you elect to do so.

But I must have done something wrong.
When I created a template, installed it, and checked my individual posts, the following attached itself to to the bottom of my amazon photos (I can’t get cj or ebay yet).
Items deleted for privacy
I then changed the template to something reasonable, but how do I get rid of this info at the bottom of my posts?

I am using phpbay and phpzon. And would like to get some better formatting between multiple posts per page.
