Using the Repost Wizard

One of the newest features of Posting Mage is the incorporation of the Reposting Wizard. There are three aspects of the wizard.
-
Prepend Posts
-
Append Posts
-
Total Re-post
Prepending a post will ad information to the already published post at the top.
Appending a post will ad information to the already published post at the bottom.
Total Re-Post will totally republish the post with the format of the new template.
This is beneficial to anyone who has a site up and they want to ad eBay or and other vendor to their posts after they have been published.
In the video I will show the different aspects of each feature. To see the video just click on the play button. Please let me know what you think of the video and if there are any videos you would like to see.

Hi Mike,
Can you help me out with a problem I have using repost wizard.
When I pick or make a eBay template to be reposted, instead of getting eBay ads relevant to my niche products, all I get is ads to do with KEYWORDS, ie KEYWORD BOOKS etc, if I replace the KEYWORD in the template with my niche products name, IE: dolls or jewelry etc, I DO get the niche product ads coming up but then I get the same ads coming up on every page.
Something is wrong somewhere any ideas.
regards Alex
Alex Make sure that in your template that {$KEYWORD} is used. Are you using phpBay? If so the call should be [phpbay]{$KEYWORD}, num, “”[/phpbay]
Repluce num with the number of items you want on the post.
Hello Mike, I will post this on the forum, but maybe you can answer the question. Wehn I try and use the posting mage to prepend products, (for example Amazon using this template; [affmage source="amazon"results="10"]{$KEYWORD}[/affmage]) I never get products. The reposted post simply displays the template text. I figure I am missing something real basic here but nothing I have tried works. It seems like the $KEYWORD variable may be the issue.
Thanks for any insight you might share,
Allen
Allen have you figured this out yet. If not PM me please
Mike
Thanks for the greate video.
I am having an issue with an error code.
I have over 9,000 pre-existing posts on a site and when I try to change or add to the
template (append or prepend) I get this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20385 bytes) in mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/posting-mage/libs/PostingMage.php on line 3
Yes, I do have all pages in one category so I am not sure what to do from here.
Any suggestions?
Create a category and move a bunch of posts into it and repost to that category. Keep repeating until you have them all done.
This was really helpful. After I saw how my posts were set up on my first mage site I was looking for a way to make the posts more relevant. This does the job!
Thanks Mike and see you around the mage forum!
