EPN Domain Text File

To have your sites validated for the Ebay Partner Network (EPN) you must install a text file (epndomain.txt) in the base directory of each domain you wish to use to promote Ebay products.
Even to get your original acceptance into the program you have to create this file and install it in the base directory of the domain.
Once you have been accepted by EPNĀ you can place your unique code in the Core Options Area of CPMage. Once you have accomplished this, each time you create a site the "epndomain.txt file will be automatically created and installed in the base directory of every site you build with CPMage. Then all you have to do is go to EPN and create the campaign, enter the domain in the domains list and then "Confirm Domain".
If you need assistance in creating the file the first time I created a this short video on the subject.

Sean,
Send me a PM through the forum
Thank you, I have been racking my brain to figure this out. It seems when some thing is so simple that’s when i have the hardest time.
Thank you.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your great video. I just have uploaded the epndomain.txt file to the base directory of my own domain. Everything looks good, but I cannot access the file at
http://laws-of-success.org/epndomain.txt
Do you have an idea where I am wrong.
Thank you very much in advance,
Hajo
Hajo that file is for EPN to verify your site. You do not need to access it
Hi Mike,
Thanks once again for a really useful video, I have been paying another Mage user for help as I am a newbie and after giving him lots of dollars he turned his back on me as I made a few errors along the way, my opinion is I am a newbie I am going to. The info you supply far outweighs anything I learnt of him. A huge thank you.
Hi Mike,
I wanted to thank you for the video. I’m a web newbie and was ready to pull my hair out until I was directed to your video. You clearly walked me through what I needed to do to get confirmed through Ebay. I originally had saved the file in word and once I saw the video I realized I needed to save it to notepad as txt. I also was not understanding what they meant by uploading to the base directory but again, you clearly showed me it was under the public_html area. Thank you for making my web experience 100% easier.
Allan
Thanks Allan glad the video helped yopu out. Stop back often and if you have a question you can always PM me

Thanks Clint
Very good info, your site is nicely put together. Great help
I had no idea how ebay wanted me to confirm till I found your site. Thanks for the simple explanation. Man it feels good to do something right!
Hi Mike!
I first want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work you have put in on these wonderful and understandable videos!
The above website is the one Art Turner created for me to submit for EPN approval. I applied yesterday and then had to confirm my site. Yikes!!! With your and Linda’s (Mage forum) help I believe I finally did the FTP upload correctly and just now clicked to confirm my site with EPN.
This also means I will be able to successfully upload CPMage myself as well!!!
Carol Andrews our Mage Tech will be so relieved, LOL.
Thank you, thank you thank you!!!
Jamie
You are SOOOOOOOO Welcome and Thank You for stopping by.
Hi Mike,
Interestingly, I checked my EPN account and found that none of my mage domains have been confirmed, but I’ve still been making money from eBay.
My EPN was set up a couple of years ago.
Is it essential to have domains confirmed, since I’m earning money with mage sites?
Thanks.
Check your base directory for each domain and see if there is a epndomain.txt file there with your code. If so go to EPN and confirm your domains. If the file is not there create it and add it then go to EPN and confirm the domains.
